This is the ninth book in the "Trucks & Truckers" series & traces the Opotiki history of Direct Transport Ltd. from its humble beginnings by Ron Smith in 1939 through many different takeovers to its amalgamation in 1963 with Lightning Transport to form Direct Transport Ltd. The years that followed saw the purchase of many smaller freight companies & the sale & takeover of Direct Transport. The Opotiki depot was closed in 1987. This soft back book is new & unused. It is 210mm wide & 295mm high & 118 pages.
