1/16 Chamberlain Champion 9G (1958 - 1959)

1/16 Chamberlain Champion 9G Tractor. Made by Collector Models of Ballarat, Australia. Representing an early release Chamberlain 9G (1958-1959), this heavy model features nice detail but does not steer. It will attach to selected 1/16 implements. Only 500 were made. Comes with collectors certificate & copy of original sales brochure. This tractor is 230mm long, 132mm wide, 132mm high & weighs 1.8 kilograms.

Chamberlain tractors were first produced in 1949 in Welshpool, Western Australia. Early Chamberlains were fitted with 2-cylinder Detroit engines. The 9G was made by Chamberlain from 1958 to 1966. About 8,000 were made during that time. The "9G" stood for "9 gears". They were fitted with a 4-cylinder Perkins engine.
