1/16 Ferguson 40 "Launch Edition" (1955, grey & green, used)

1/16 Ferguson 40 Tractor 1955. Made by Universal Hobbies. Features steerable front wheels (not recommended though as the steering is very fragile), opening bonnet, 3 point hitch, precision detail. Does not attach to any implements. This is a used item in very good condition but may have minor imperfections. The box is in fair condition but has some marks, creases & tears. Only 1500 have been made of this limited edition. Only 1 available. This tractor is 205mm long, 102mm wide & 88mm high.

The Ferguson 40 was introduced in 1955. It was available in several configurations; rowcrop, high clearance & standard. It was fitted with a Continental 134ci petrol engine. Originally in green & grey livery, it was later changed to a grey & cream finish. As a result of the Massey-Harris takeover of Ferguson in late 1953, the Ferguson 40 was renamed the Massey-Harris 50 in 1955.
